What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Senior Systems Engineer - Hybrid Cloud leads the design, development and operation of Telecare's hybrid cloud infrastructure with a focus on cost-effectiveness, availability, performance, security and scalability. They provide support for On-premise private cloud, public cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, database engineering, storage, and site reliability engineering, as well as makes recommendations to leverage public cloud efficiency while maintaining secure data on-premises.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | AM/DAYS/PM | Shifts varies as needed | Days: Monday - Friday

Expected starting wage range is $116,481.18 - $143,918.56. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience and deep working knowledge of Microsoft Azure that includes functional practical knowledge in automating Microsoft Azure reliability solutions such as HA/DR configuration, multi-AZ and multi-region deployment, auto scaling, etc.
  • Experience in integrating Azure cloud with third party software, other SaaS services or on-premise applications.
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven knowledge working with server and storage hardware, software, including Citrix, VMware, Dell Server and Storage Systems, Windows, Linux, etc.
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory and group policy.
  • Experience with relational database and related technologies (e.g. MS SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Experience with VMware vSphere virtualization technologies using vCenter preferred.
  • Experience with networking and security concepts within a hybrid cloud infrastructure environment.
  • Exposure to PowerShell and/or bash scripting preferred.
  • Ability to work within a team and provide leadership in the design, deployment, and support of infrastructure systems.
  • Must demonstrate good understanding of ITIL, including service management, capacity management, change management and documentation.
  • Azure Cloud Certification preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
