Senior Business Data Analyst, Business Analytics to play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will partner with business leaders to scope, design, and build the appropriate analytical tools and metrics to answer strategic and operational questions. This will include defining and operationalizing key performance indicators (KPIs), uncovering insights through rigorous analysis, developing scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks, and ultimately translating data into business value. Success in this role is measured by the impact of insights on strategic and operational decisions, clarity of metrics delivered, and measurable improvements in business outcomes such as growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing:- Elicit and synthesize data-driven insights into clear narratives and recommendations that influence decision-making, including recurring business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and ad hoc deep dives.
- Enable business leaders to make data-driven decisions by translating their business needs into the appropriate analytical tools and metrics to answer strategic and operational questions such as identifying growth levers, diagnosing performance gaps, or evaluating initiative impact.
- Scope, design, build, and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data models to enable self-service access to key metrics and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across teams.
- Use AI tools to accelerate your workflow and increase the quality of your output via querying, modeling, and synthesizing findings. You validate AI-assisted work rather than taking it at face value, and you build with scalability in mind so your solutions hold up as reliable, reusable processes.
You'll be a good fit if you are:- A Problem Solver: You have 3+ years of experience in BI or data analytics at a high-growth tech startup. You're able to identify business challenges based on metrics and analyses, and you're ready to recommend solutions to improve business processes. You balance analysis with decisive execution to avoid "analysis paralysis."
- Strong bonus: Experience solving data problems in a healthcare-related field (e.g., RCM, provider operations, value-based care, health tech SaaS).
- A data-driven decision maker: You have expert-level SQL skills and are familiar with tools like Snowflake, DBT, Looker, Hex, and Retool. You spend most of your day building critical analyses and data visualizations to elicit data-driven insights. You use metrics and analyses to uncover insights, validate hypotheses, and guide operational decisions. You are able to dive deep to understand the full scope of data, including edge cases.
- AI-native: AI tools are part of how you naturally work day-to-day. You default to using AI to speed up querying, drafting, and synthesis, and you know when to lean on it versus when deeper manual analysis is warranted. You stay current on new tools and techniques and bring that thinking back to how the team works.
- An effective communicator: You are adept at translating complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable presenting to executives, business leaders, engineers, PMs, and peers. You are expert at crafting compelling data stories through visualizations.
- Mission-Driven: You're here to change the world, and you're always connecting your work back to the importance of the Grow Therapy mission.
- Agile: You thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, and you're able to pivot as new priorities emerge. You are skilled at managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and timelines efficiently.
- A Team Player: You're collaborative by nature, relish in camaraderie and group wins, and are looked to by your colleagues as a steadfast partner and source of encouragement.
