About the TeamDoorDash's MarTech Operations team is the connective tissue between our Retention Marketing organization and the tools, systems, and data that power it. As a Senior Associate focused on QA Automation, you'll own the quality backbone for how we build, test, and ship marketing campaigns across DoorDash audiences.
About the RoleYou'll lead the expansion of our QA automation tooling, drive the shift from manual QA to automated QA workflows, help automate the ship review process, and scale multivariate QA and sample testing practices across every audience we serve. This is a highly cross-functional, builder-oriented role for someone who wants to own a strategic quality function end-to-end.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...- Own and expand DoorDash's QA automation toolkit for Retention Marketing campaigns
- Lead the transition from manual QA to automated QA across all audiences
- Automate and streamline the ship review process
- Design and scale Multivariate QA / Sample Testing programs across DoorDash audiences.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science to define QA requirements and operational readiness criteria
- Track and report on QA coverage, defect rates, and campaign quality metrics
- Build documentation, SOPs, and training that help marketing teams adopt new QA tools and processes with confidence
We're excited about you because...- 3+ years of experience in marketing technology, quality assurance, marketing operations, program management, or a similar operational role at a technology company
- Experience with QA processes for marketing campaigns (peer review, ship review, sample/multivariate testing) or software QA automation
- Expertise with Retention Marketing technology platforms (Braze, Salesforce, CDPs, or similar) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional projects - defining milestones, managing dependencies, and keeping stakeholders aligned
- Comfort working with data to track quality metrics and surface insights; experience with dashboards or basic SQL a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to translate technical QA processes into plain language for marketing practitioners
- Detail-oriented with a high bar for quality; you notice what's missing before others do
Nice to Have- Experience building or scaling QA automation tools or frameworks
- Experience working across multiple brands/audiences (e.g., consumer, B2B, international)
- Basic SQL knowledge for querying QA or usage data
- Experience writing internal documentation, training materials, or adoption playbooks

CompensationThe successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
