Full Job Description
The Opportunity:

As part of Hamilton Lane's Global Client Solutions Team, the Product Team is responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our investment programs across our investment platforms, including managing products and assisting with investor relations across the globe. As a Senior Associate on the Direct Credit Product Team, you will support the Platform Specialist in managing product lifecycles, focusing on fundraising and investor relations within the Direct Credit investment platform.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, be detail-oriented and operate in a fast-pace and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Platform specialist in the day-to-day management of assigned products through the product lifecycle.
  • Work with Global Client Solutions sales leads and supporting teams in completing and reviewing RFPs, DDQs, and related due diligence documents in support of new business opportunities.
  • Primary resource for the execution of product marketing strategy, including the development and ongoing maintenance for marketing materials and sales collateral.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of standard responses within assigned platform and products, working closing with sales support and marketing teams.
  • Contribute to Product Development efforts for new offerings and products coming back to market.
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings or calls alongside senior team members and sales leaders to facilitate fundraising and maintain investor relations.
  • Support senior team in developing content and materials for ad hoc and recurring broad client/prospect meetings.
  • Help communicate key updates and information to global sales and client teams on both a regular and ad hoc basis.
  • Delegate and supervise client service tasks, address complex client inquiries as a subject matter expert, and review responses composed by junior product staff.
  • Supervisory responsibility of junior team members covering assigned platform/products. This includes delegating tasks, providing feedback, and contributing to training and development.


Qualifications:

  • College degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.).An advanced degree, MBA, and/or CFA is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 7 years working experience in financial services in either an investor relations or product management role.
  • Must have experience working directly with clients and client teams.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated and organized, detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing up across multiple senior members of the team.
  • Ability to manage through dynamic workload and leverage resources to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of project/process management in leveraging both junior and senior resources to complete projects and tasks.
  • Proactively identify challenges and find solutions leveraging available resources.
  • An independent contributor comfortable with crafting accurate responses without significant oversight.
