Full Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:

The Investor Operations team is seeking a Senior Associate to support the day-to-day execution of investor and fund operations processes and play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and well-coordinated operational support across the organization. This role partners closely with internal teams and external service providers to manage time-sensitive and confidential information related to investor servicing, fund administration, reporting, and transaction workflows.

The Senior Associate serves as a central point of coordination for operational workflows, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Tax, Marketing, IT, and Internal Audit to support effective execution and cross-functional alignment. This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional with 5+ years of relevant experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings strong judgment, accountability, and an internal client service mindset to their work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execution of complex investor operations processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a best-in-class service experience.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and select external partners, providing proactive communication, issue resolution, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Review, approve, and oversee operational deliverables, including reconciliations, reporting outputs, and data validations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Independently investigate and resolve complex operational issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Technology to ensure seamless execution of investor servicing workflows.
  • Drive recurring reporting cycles and operational processes, including planning, tracking, and execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify operational risks and control gaps; enhance processes, documentation, and controls to improve scalability and reduce risk.
  • Play a key role in system implementations, enhancements, and process automation efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and business requirement input.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance procedures and documentation to support a controlled, audit-ready environment.
  • Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews by providing validated data and subject matter expertise.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to junior team members, providing guidance to support technical development.
  • Continuously evaluate workflows and service delivery, driving improvements that enhance efficiency and the overall stakeholder experience.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in investor operations, fund operations, fund administration, transfer agency, or a similar financial services environment.
  • Experience supporting investor onboarding, capital activity, reporting, reconciliations, and operational controls in a regulated environment preferred.
  • FINRA licenses are a plus.

  • Deep experience with CRM systems, data platforms, and workflow tools (e.g., Salesforce, Intralinks, Monday.com), with the ability to optimize usage.
  • Strong data management capabilities, including validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance of complex data sets.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in systems and processes and contribute to automation and optimization solutions.
  • Experience supporting or leading system implementations, enhancements, and testing (UAT) efforts.

Analytical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of investor operations processes, fund structures, and servicing requirements.
  • Ability to independently analyze complex data sets, identify discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
