You will help improve oversight routines and modernize reporting through practical automation and process improvement. As a Senior Associate - Data Quality Controls Governance and Reporting Lead at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking Chief Data Office, you will support governance routines, reporting, and attestation activities tied to data quality controls. You will help drive consistent execution, clear communication, and executive-ready reporting, while identifying and delivering opportunities to reduce manual effort and operational risk. You will balance day-to-day oversight needs with longer-term modernization work that improves how information is collected, consolidated, and communicated.

Job responsibilities

  • Support governance routines and oversight activities for data quality controls programs and initiatives
  • Coordinate recurring reporting and attestation processes, ensuring inputs are accurate, timely, and audit-ready
  • Partner with stakeholders across product, application, data, and control functions to track issues, actions, and outcomes
  • Evaluate existing governance and reporting workflows to identify automation and efficiency opportunities
  • Modernize spreadsheet-driven and manually consolidated reporting into scalable, repeatable processes
  • Create and maintain process documentation, procedures, and supporting materials for improved solutions
  • Develop executive-ready updates that communicate status, risks, decisions needed, and impact of improvements

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of applied experience in data governance, controls, reporting, process improvement, automation, business analysis, operations, or analytics
  • Experience supporting governance, controls, risk management, compliance, or regulatory reporting activities
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into defined requirements and implementable process improvements
  • Proficiency using automation and reporting tools (for example: SQL, Python, Alteryx, Power Automate, Power BI, Tableau, Jira, or Confluence)
  • Demonstrated experience improving operational efficiency and reducing manual effort through automation or standardization
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process design skills, with attention to detail and quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-ready reporting and materials

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in data governance, controls, compliance, data management, data quality controls, or regulatory reporting environments
  • Experience automating spreadsheet-based reporting, recurring presentations, or stakeholder communications
  • Experience integrating data from multiple systems and sources to enable consistent reporting
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other process improvement training or certification(s)
