Position: Senior Architectural Designer

Role Overview
Rockwell Group is seeking a full-time Senior Architectural Designer to join our office in New York.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and document design concepts for overall architectural designs and space planning
• Produce collaborative 3D models that reflect the proposed floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and FF&E
• Create visualization from 3D models with post-production work in Photoshop
• Create design presentations, mood boards, and material boards/binders to help convey look and feel of design concepts to clients
• Meet with clients to determine project requirements and advise clients on design factors including concept design, space planning, FF&E, materials, and color coordination
• Coordinate with project designers, outside project team, and consultants to ensure project completion in compliance with design intent
Requirements:
• 7 - 10 years of experience in architecture, interiors, or design
• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, interior design, or relevant field
• Experience in hospitality design is required
• Experience with all project phases (Concept through Construction Administration), including built work
• Strong experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Cloud is required
• Ability to render in V-Ray or Enscape
• Knowledgeable in materials, finishes, millwork design, FF&E, and OS&E is preferred, but not required
• Registered Architects are preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to meet fast-pace and changing deadlines
• Highly motivated self-starter, with an attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for working on multi-disciplinary and highly collaborative teams
This is a full-time, in-studio position with hybrid/work-from-home flexibility, provided it does not interfere with responsibilities and complies with current office policy outlined in the Rockwell Group Handbook. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience ranging from $90,000 to $145,000 excluding bonuses and other benefits. This is a good faith estimate based on the expectations laid out in the job description.
