Job Description

WW+P is looking for a Technical and Revit-capable Senior Architect for our Toronto Studio, with experience across all phases of project delivery. This position is both design- and technically focused, requiring an individual who can synthesize strong design intent with technical resolution, and who is self-motivated, organized, and collaborative.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the preparation of construction documents and the delivery of construction phase services for mid-rise and missing-middle housing projects, including affordable, mixed-income, and supportive housing developments. Experience with mass timber is considered a strong asset.

The successful candidate will contribute to project teams from concept design through construction, bringing strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to design excellence. Critical thinking is at the core of our approach. We encourage design input at all levels and are looking for candidates that will invest in projects with the same level of passion that we bring to our work.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of post-graduate experience;
  • Experience in Construction Documentation and Construction Administration phases with some experience in residential typologies;
  • Solid technical understanding of building construction detailing including experience in multi-unit wood construction, mid-rise and high density residential; experience in multiple typologies and/or mass timber construction an asset;
  • OAA Architect or Licensed Technologist registration (or eligibility) is an asset but not required;
  • Exceptional communication, organization and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong in Revit;
  • Project management experience an asset;
  • Strong knowledge of the OBC;
  • Experience with passive house and net-zero energy and carbon design and implementation is an asset.
