Opportunity to conduct strategic policy work at Canada's only provincial First Nations health authority.
Title: Senior Policy Analyst
Salary: $91,172 - $101,898- $123,351 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: 1 Year term contract
Hours: 8:30am -4:30pm Mon-Fri (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Open to all B.C, Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy).
About the role
As the Senior Policy Analyst you will undertake strategic and policy-based research, analysis, planning and writing in areas aligned with the FNHA's Regional priorities, mandate and Multi-Year Health Plan. This will include the development of reports, presentations, briefing notes and co-developing strategies, frameworks, action plans as appropriate with the continued focus on sustaining, and improving the health of BC First Nations
About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be
Education & Occupational Certification, Experience (REQUIRED)
3 University Degree in a related field such as health policy, public policy, public health, First Nations/Indigenous studies, health systems management, political or social science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3 Recent, relevant, and progressive experience in policy/strategy development and analysis (usually acquired over a period of 5-7 years), preferably within in First Nations/Metis/Inuit health policy
3 Experience in working with First Nations and/or First Nations health programs and services or policy
Education & Occupational Certification, Experience (ASSET - NOT REQUIRED TO COMPLETE)
3 A graduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (including lived experience) is an asset

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
