Full Job Description
To be successful in the role Senior Analyst, People & Culture Systems [Workday], this team member will have proven experience at minimum Core HCM modules and some Workday Reporting and Security, within a complex, high-volume environment; preferably in the professional services industry.
As a Senior Analyst, People & Culture Systems [Workday] your responsibilities will include:
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday HCM, configure and maintaining business processes, notifications, conditional rules, implement and enhance system modules.
• Design, implement, and enhance Workday functionality to support People & Culture operational objectives and ongoing process improvements.
• Partner with People & Culture, Payroll, Technology, and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into Workday solutions.
• Maintain foundational Workday data, including organizational structures, locations, departments, position management, compensation, and performance management information.
• Support Workday releases, enhancements, testing, validation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and change impact assessments.
• Leverage Workday Community and best practices to identify opportunities for system optimization, simplification, and improved user experience.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, including standard, matrix, and composite reports using Report Writer and Report Designer.
• Support People Analytics reporting and dashboard requirements in Workday and/or Power BI to meet stakeholder and business needs.
• Create and maintain HRIS process documentation, support the HRIS mailbox, and provide timely issue resolution and customer support.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems/Human Resources or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in HRIS management, of which a least 2 years of functional/technical Workday HCM module experience required for employee data maintenance.
• Advanced Excel experience working with large data sets utilizing advanced formulas and functionality (i.e. using pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
• Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer.
• Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Workday Discover Boards.
• Experience with Workday Security.
• Demonstrate the qualities of a self-starter and one who follows through on all job duties and has a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well and collaborate in hybrid team environment.
• Exceptional time management, project planning, and communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Professional services industry and a Centre of Excellence environment is preferred.

To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $75,000-$103,000 in Toronto, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
