Join Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets business as a Sales Analyst within the US Hedge Fund and Quantitative Investment Solutions Marketing team. You will work alongside an experienced six-person team to originate business opportunities and generate revenue across hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds, and endowments, while gaining exposure to financial derivatives, commodity markets, and quantitative investment strategies.

As an integral member of the hybrid Hedge Fund and Quantitative Investment Solutions desk, you will provide coverage to clients by delivering market commentary, trade ideas, live pricing, and structured product support. You will provide secondary coverage for large and medium-sized clients while taking primary responsibility for smaller clients, prospective relationships, and transaction execution. Working closely with clients and colleagues across Sales/Trading/Structuring and support teams, you will identify new business opportunities, support cross-asset index implementation through swaps and options, and coordinate the accurate booking, processing, and communication of client transactions. You will work closely with Macquarie traders across Energy, Metals, Agriculture and QIS Trading desks to generate market views, understand market liquidity, and price client transactions. You will also apply your software engineering and quantitative capabilities to analyze and automate desk processes, including booking, recapping, valuations, and other workflows. Through collaboration across the organization, you will contribute to cross-product marketing initiatives and the successful implementation of client solutions.

- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or another relevant field.
- One to three years of experience in commodity sales, trading, origination, structuring, transaction banking, investment banking, or a related financial markets role.
- Knowledge of financial derivatives, commodity markets, and quantitative investment strategies.
- Software engineering, programming, or application and workflow automation experience, with the ability to identify opportunities to streamline desk processes.
- Strong quantitative analysis, attention to detail, and communication skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset, commercial drive, and enthusiasm for contributing to a collaborative and successful team.
Salary range for this position: $123,000 - $140,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
