Position Description: Our Artificial Intelligence practice is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a Senior AI Solution Architect to play a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering advanced AI and Generative AI solutions for our clients.
This role combines architecture leadership, strong technical judgment, and client engagement, and is suited for a professional capable of guiding complex AI initiatives while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Design end-to-end AI and Generative AI solution architectures aligned with client business objectives.
• Lead architectural decisions related to AI platforms, cloud services, and integration patterns.
• Guide the implementation of Generative AI use cases (LLMs, RAG architectures, AI assistants, automation).
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and platform teams to ensure scalable and secure solution delivery.
• Define and oversee MLOps practices (model lifecycle, monitoring, deployment, governance).
• Lead technical feasibility studies and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Ensure AI solutions align with security, privacy, and responsible AI principles.
• Act as a technical advisor in client discussions, helping translate business challenges into AI-enabled solutions.
• Mentor intermediate team members and contribute to the evolution of the AI practice.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• 7+ years of experience in technology roles, including 3+ years in AI solution design or architecture.
• Strong expertise in AI and machine learning, with hands-on experience in Generative AI architectures.
• Solid understanding of LLM ecosystems, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and API-based AI services.
• Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Good knowledge of MLOps concepts and tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, CI/CD).
• Strong communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Bilingual (French and English).

• Exposure to enterprise data platforms and distributed systems.
• Contribution to AI standards, frameworks, or Centers of Excellence.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90.000-$175,000 This role is an existing vacancy
