This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, producing accurate financial information, and partnering across the Firm to support operational excellence.

The successful candidate is a strong accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, enjoys improving processes, and consistently delivers high-quality results. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, embraces technology, and wants to build a modern Finance organization.

You will be responsible for:

  • Own assigned areas of the general ledger, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and fluctuation analysis.
  • Independently lead assigned portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process while ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank transaction matching, cash reconciliations, and bank account reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items proactively.
  • Perform Accounts Receivable and Client Billing activities, including invoice preparation, cash collections, cash application, account reconciliation, and resolving customer billing inquiries.
  • Support Accounts Payable operations, including vendor invoice processing, payment execution, prepaid and accrued expense account reconciliations, and resolving invoice and payment issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, increase automation, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives, system implementations, and cross-functional projects that improve the scalability and effectiveness of the Finance organization.
  • Review work prepared by offshore team members, provide timely coaching and constructive feedback, and help ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely accounting deliverables.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, enhance analyses, and automate routine work while maintaining professional judgment, accuracy, and accountability.

What we need from you:

  • Ability to apply U.S. GAAP and firm accounting policies to day-to-day accounting operations and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • A disciplined, timeline-driven approach to planning and execution, with the initiative to work independently, take ownership, and consistently drive work to successful completion.
  • A builder's mindset-we're looking for builders, not just operators. You naturally challenge the status quo, identify opportunities to improve processes, and help build scalable accounting operations that support the Firm's continued growth.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a commitment to accuracy, high-quality work, practical problem solving, and continuous improvement.
  • A growth mindset with the ability to responsibly leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity while applying sound professional judgment.
  • A collaborative approach to partnering with teammates and business stakeholders while demonstrating leadership through expertise, initiative, and influence.
