- Corporate Credit Cards: Administer corporate credit card programs, including cardholder setup, maintenance, account changes, and compliance. Review activity for appropriate coding, documentation, approvals, and adherence to company policy.
- Reconcile credit card activity to statements and the general ledger, investigate discrepancies through resolution, and ensure transactions are recorded in the appropriate period. Serve as a primary resource for employee and management questions.
- Payroll Accounting: Prepare payroll-related journal entries and accruals to the general ledger (Payroll is prepared by separate Payroll Dep't using UKG); reconcile payroll-related balance sheet and expense accounts, including payroll liabilities and accrued payroll. Review payroll information for completeness, reasonableness, and proper accounting treatment.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, and third-party payroll providers to resolve discrepancies. Support payroll audits and reporting requirements while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Close and Reporting: Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate unusual activity, and complete assigned responsibilities accurately and within established deadlines.
