Senior Accountant- Audit/ Assurance (FULLY REMOTE)

About the Position

This is a 100% fully remote position for one of the top 20 accounting firms in Canada.

As a Senior Accountant you will be working on assignments under the direct supervision of a Director and a Partner for all types of assurance engagements. You will be working in a broad range of industries on a variety of engagements, including emerging industries such as cannabis, psychedelics, and gaming. You will oversee entire engagements from planning to completion, including but not limited to:

  • Completing and overseeing others' work on audit files


  • Coaching Junior and Intermediate Accountants by providing input and expertise where necessary
  • Building effective and long lasting working relationships on assignments with operational client contacts
  • Preparing complex areas of the file
  • Co-ordinating group audits with component auditors in other cities and countries
  • Reviewing work completed by Junior and Intermediate team members


  • Responding effectively and efficiently to client, manager and partner requests


Summary of Responsibilities
