Senior Accountant

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
• Ability to mentor and lead junior staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and report financial statements
• Manage key accounting processes including reconciliations and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with GAAP in all accounting practices
• Mentor junior accountants and foster a collaborative team environment
• Collaborate with departments to enhance accounting processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for stakeholders
