Job Overview

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Account Executive to join our team. As the Sr. Account Executive, you will target Super-Regional and large commercial banks. You are expected to operate autonomously, managing complex multi-stakeholder deal cycles. The most successful people in this role have an entrepreneurial mindset, are self-starters, and have experience fully owning their 7-figure sales cycles and know how to close complex enterprise deals. Your responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Bank Prospecting and Acquisition: Creating a cohesive territory strategy to open new opportunities with your bank targets and signing contracts to acquire a new bank logo.
  • Opportunity Management: Fully owning the new bank pipeline and management of the pipeline including hygiene, progression, closing, etc.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Proactively working across FISPAN's internal teams, including leadership, to ensure there is full alignment and support with your strategy.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop a deep understanding of banks' goals and challenges to create a comprehensive new bank sales strategy.
  • Product & Industry Knowledge: You are a subject matter expert on our products, services, and many different industry trends that effectively communicates FISPAN's value to clients.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Constantly looking for areas of opportunity and improvement across the enterprise.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in similar sales roles achieving and exceeding quota with closing deals with $250k+ ACV.
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling to true enterprise accounts.
  • Proven experience navigating complex procurement, InfoSec reviews, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, etc)
  • Strong competency with solution selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDICC, Sandler)
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, particularly in the context of technology-driven solutions.
  • Financial Literacy and the ability to competently analyze a Bank's 10-K/Annual Report to find strategic insights and areas for opportunity
  • Exceptional business writing skills; ability to craft compelling, concise executive summaries and proposals
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute account plans.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed (e.g., 3-4 times per quarter).


Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 CAD annually based on experience.

Commission: This role includes the opportunity to earn commission. Commission is based on performance and is uncapped.
