Full Job Description
The successful candidate will need to develop an understanding of our standard processes and interconnect structures to assist with troubleshooting and FA of unit processes and/or completed interconnects. This position will support both externally and internally funded projects. The position may also support other thin film/material characterization activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on engineering resource for SEM/EDS analysis and sample preparation.
  • Communicating results and concerns in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
  • Accurately recording and reporting data
  • Assist with standard troubleshooting protocols of Micross AIT processes

Job Qualifications:

  • US citizenship or permanent resident alien status is required.
  • A., B.S., M.S., or PhD in physical science or engineering with thin film/material characterization experience using scanning electron microscopes
  • Knowledge of wafer processes and basic device processing.
  • Overall experience with metrology measurements, data recording, and data presentation (PowerPoint) is a plus.

  • Excellent hands-on laboratory skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Should be able to collect and analyze data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to generate reports.
  • Should possess strong analytical skills.
