  • Ensure emergency equipment, medications, and monitoring devices are available and functioning prior to procedures
  • Assist the procedural team while maintaining sterile technique when appropriate
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and surgical staff to ensure efficient procedural workflow
  • Monitor patients during recovery and ensure safe discharge from the procedural area

Per Diem Sedation Nurse (RN) - Vascular Procedures | Operating Room

Position Type: Full Time

Position Overview: Primary Vascular Care is seeking an experienced Sedation Nurse (RN) to join our team on a per diem basis assisting with vascular procedures in the operating room. The ideal candidate has experience administering and monitoring moderate sedation in a procedural environment and is comfortable working alongside physicians during image-guided vascular interventions.

This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled vascular team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and monitor moderate sedation for patients undergoing vascular procedures.
  • Continuously assess patient vital signs, airway status, and level of consciousness during procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures including IV placement, medication administration, and pre-procedural assessment.
