Job Description

As a Security Specialist - Digital Fraud at Ubisoft Montréal, you will help protect our players and platforms by detecting, understanding, and reducing digital fraud across our ecosystem. Working with large-scale datasets and modern detection tools, you will partner with teams across Data, Engineering, Product, and Production to strengthen fraud prevention capabilities and respond to emerging threats. Your work will contribute directly to a secure and trusted player experience.

What you'll do
  • Explore and interpret transactional and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging risks
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Splunk, Azure Data Explorer, and Databricks to monitor fraud trends and key performance indicators
  • Investigate and respond to digital fraud threats, including credential stuffing, account takeover, fake account creation, marketplace abuse, and security bypass attempts
  • Design and deploy detection rules, alerts, and use cases within fraud monitoring platforms
  • Partner with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to improve fraud detection systems, risk engines, and workflows
  • Perform root cause analysis on fraud incidents and contribute to long-term prevention strategies
  • Identify gaps in detection capabilities and support continuous improvement of fraud prevention frameworks
  • Support fraud-related incident response and post-incident reviews
  • Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders as a trusted subject matter resource
