Enterprise Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) to join the Dynamic Targeting & Surveillance System team. In this role you will be the subject-matter expert for Special Access Program (SAP) compliance and oversight, responsible for safeguarding classified contracts, sensitive compartments, and proprietary information across multiple Lockheed Martin facilities and supplier sites. You will develop, administer, and audit security programs to ensure strict adherence to government regulations, including DoDM 5205.07, NISPOM, and Intelligence Community Directives, while aligning with corporate policies and the enterprise-wide OneLM security framework. The ECSSO applies business-minded, risk-managed solutions to security challenges, communicates observations and recommendations to senior leadership, and supports the quality, schedule, and cost expectations of program development and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with U.S. Government customers to secure contract execution approvals, obtain security rulings, and manage any necessary deviations.
- Provide expert oversight of security administration, operations, and physical protection across multiple Lockheed Martin and supplier locations, including SAP facilities, depot/sustainment sites, and flight-operation environments.
- Establish and maintain Special Access Program facilities, ensuring they meet SAP performance and execution requirements.
- Build and sustain positive partnerships with government security sponsors, customer security teams, and internal program managers.
- Lead and participate in multi-site security functions, standardizing SOPs, CONOPs, and OneLM processes across the enterprise.
- Ensure continuous compliance with DoD instructions, Intelligence Community Directives, NISPOM, and other applicable manuals and local guidelines.
- Make independent, initiative-driven decisions to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain Security Education Training Awareness (SETA) programs for personnel at all levels.
- Investigate security violations, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend preventive or corrective actions.
- Communicate business-minded, risk-managed solutions to senior leadership and enterprise partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal corporate leadership/program managers and government security sponsors or accrediting bodies, coordinating accreditation, audit, and compliance activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall security posture of the program.
Basic Qualifications- Deep knowledge of SAP operations, DoDM 5205.07, NISPOM, and related defense security manuals.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-site security projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, with the capacity to influence senior leadership.
- Experience in industrial, personnel, and information security for high-impact classified programs.
Desired Skills- Profound knowledge, understanding, and application of the NISPOM and DoD 5205.07 manuals
- Ability to manage large projects or processes that span outside of the immediate job area
- Prior responsibility for making moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems, or products that enhanced performance of job areas
- Ability to multi-task and solve routine challenges
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; can communicate with parties within and outside of own job function
- Able to deliver customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge/experience of DISS, JIRA, JADE, Scattered Castles, ACCS, SIMS, and SESIDS software
- Accessibility to be on call and support non-traditional work hours or odd shifts as required by program needs
- Experience with self-inspection compliance and customer inspections
- Knowledge of requirements supporting the development and maintenance of a Risk Management Framework (RMF) environment, acquisition and maintenance of an Authority to Operate (ATO), and duties/responsibilities of the ISSM/ISSO position
- Experience as a SAP Accountability Officer
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $123400.00 - $229200.00

- Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
