Job Summary This role requires a balance of technical expertise in SOC operations and incident response, along with operational experience and technical team leadership. The Security Operations Manager will provide operational and technical guidance, manage security operations, oversee security procedures, support incident investigations, and drive process improvements while ensuring business and security objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities • Provide direct supervision to a large team of operational, production, sales, service, or administrative team members, or a small team of professional-level team members. • Establish and communicate clear expectations for work outcomes and manage team performance. • Manage a staff of professional-level team members or manage a team through lower-level supervisors. • Operate within general policies and management guidance while independently determining approaches to managing daily operations. • Provide guidance and technical advice and become actively involved in operational activities as necessary. • Develop, modify, and execute company policies that affect company operations across a small geographical area. • Develop, implement, and maintain security procedures to meet business requirements. • Analyze, investigate, and recommend process improvements related to loss control and incident reports. • Manage and maintain accountability for the security budget for operations across a small geographical area.
