Full Job Description
Security Assistant/Specialist (Mid-Level)

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and coordinate DD254 industrial security requirements and ensure proper implementation of contract security clauses.
  • Prepare and upload security clearance packages in TITAN, PS3, and DISS/NBIS databases; monitor progress and coordinate status checks.
  • Assist with badging, in- and out-processing of personnel, and verification of access authorizations.
  • Support full life-cycle security for SAP facilities, including personnel, physical, and information security functions.
  • Provide SCIF/SAPF expertise to ensure compliance with DoD and IC directives, including ICD 705, DoDM 5200.45, and DoDD 5205.07.
  • Conduct periodic security inspections and assessments, maintaining inspection readiness with zero findings.
  • Develop and deliver security plans, briefings, and special topic presentations for SAP indoctrination, refresher training, and operational security (OPSEC).
  • Maintain SAP security documentation, including program security classification guides, courier logs, and accreditation records.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of security standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans.
  • Provide administrative advice and guidance to leadership on security policy, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support counterintelligence and security threat reporting requirements, including identification, documentation, and reporting of suspicious activities in accordance with DIA policy.
  • Provide security-related inputs to Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), including inspection results, clearance status trends, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Support security operations during non-standard hours, emergency conditions, or continuity events as directed by the COR.
  • Coordinate directly with the Government COR, security leadership, and NMEC stakeholders to resolve security issues and maintain continuous compliance.
  • Maintain controlled security records and audit-ready documentation in accordance with government records management and security requirements.
  • Provide administrative support and recommendations to leadership regarding security procedures and risk mitigation, in accordance with established government policies.
  • Perform other related security duties as required in support of mission operations, continuity, and contract requirements, as directed by the Government COR and PCG Team Lead.


Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph (required).
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in security management, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of industrial security and SAP/SCIF support experience within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DoD and IC security directives, including ICD 705, DoDM 5200.45, DoDD 5205.07, and related SAP/SCIF standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access) and security management databases such as TITAN, PS3, and DISS/NBIS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present technical security briefings.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a high-operational tempo environment while managing multiple priorities.
