As a Securities Lending & Structured Financing Trader, you will operate at the intersection of markets execution and structured financing, trading across asset classes and solving complex client and borrower challenges. Job summary
This role is responsible for trading securities lending and financing opportunities across asset classes in the Americas, balancing client objectives, risk, and revenue generation. You will drive pricing and inventory strategy, originate and execute structured solutions, and convert client mandates into actionable trading plans. The position requires market awareness, disciplined execution, and partnership across Risk, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Technology to ensure a well-controlled platform.

Job responsibilities
  • Trade securities lending and financing opportunities across asset classes, balancing client objectives, risk, and revenue generation.
  • Drive pricing and inventory strategy: understand supply/demand drivers, scarcity, term dynamics, and collateral economics.
  • Originate and execute structured solutions with borrowers and clients (tenor, collateral packages, substitution mechanics, concentration and liquidity constraints).
  • Convert client lending mandates into a daily trading plan-clear targets, clear guardrails, and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide market commentary and actionable insights to internal stakeholders and clients, with a "why it matters" lens.
  • Partner across Risk, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Technology to deliver a scalable, well-controlled platform.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong trading instincts: calm under pressure, commercially sharp, and accountable for execution quality.
  • Securities lending knowledge plus a financing/structuring perspective (collateral, balance sheet, and regulatory-aware decisioning).
  • Ability to connect micro market moves to client impact and communicate clearly to senior audiences.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment where details matter and teamwork is essential.

  • Excel and comfort working with data; Tableau (or similar) is a plus.
