The opportunityAs a Technology Service Delivery Senior, you'll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you'll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you'll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.
We are looking for Backend Engineers who will design and develop server-side services, APIs, and data integrations for our financial services clients. The team leverages Java, Spring and Spring Boot, RESTful and SOAP web services, microservices architectures, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging platforms such as Kafka, and cloud technologies to build secure, scalable, and high-performing back-end systems. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role that spans the full application lifecycle.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe goal is to help clients solve complex business problems by delivering robust enterprise solutions. You will translate requirements into secure services, integrate new interfaces with existing systems, and own assigned workstreams independently from design through production support, while applying strong code quality, security, testing, and automation standards.
Skills and attributes for success- Working knowledge and hands-on experience developing enterprise server-side applications, APIs, and integrations using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience building microservices architectures and RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and data access frameworks such as JPA or Hibernate, including query performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of messaging and event streaming platforms such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
- Working knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Own assigned workstreams independently from design through production support, including production triage.
- Collaborate across product, engineering, testing, and operations teams, and mentor less-experienced team members where appropriate.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
To qualify for the role you must have- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in enterprise application development.
- Hands-on experience developing server-side applications and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of microservices architectures and API design.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, and familiarity with NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Working knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and web services.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience with cloud development and production triage.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

What we offer you- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job is:
- New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices - $80,300 to $149,100
- Bay Area California offices - $83,700 to $155,300
- All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento - $67,000 to $136,800
- Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
