About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated
Scrum Master to guide, coach, and empower our engineering teams toward high productivity and continuous improvement. In this role, you will champion Agile/Scrum practices and values to drive end-user value, facilitate core ceremonies, and foster a collaborative culture of transparency and accountability. You will work closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, remove roadblocks, and ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Agile Facilitation: Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint demos, and other Agile ceremonies. Collaborate with the Release Train Engineer to integrate team efforts and consult with Product Owners to validate and communicate priorities.
- Coaching & Leadership: Guide and motivate the team on Agile/Scrum best practices, assess team maturity, and help elevate performance at a sustainable, comfortable pace. Foster a safe, trusting environment centered on proactive problem-solving.
- Impediment Removal: Act as the internal Scrum expert to remove obstacles, mitigate external roadblocks, and guide the team toward an optimum, sustainable velocity. Ensure project tracking systems remain completely up-to-date and transparent.
- Communication & Metrics: Publish and communicate relevant progress metrics and information radiators to stakeholders. Ensure clear alignment across program teams without coercion or micromanagement.
- Operations & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and actively participate in all established environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and training.
Requirements- Experience: 5-7 years of overall scrum experience, including at least 2 years specifically functioning as a Scrum Master (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Certifications: Active Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification required.
- Agile & Technical Competence: Proven experience guiding teams in writing, splitting, and mapping user stories. Strong familiarity with software development processes, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Planning & Execution: Demonstrated capability to develop, plan, manage, and execute work plans for successful project completions using relative estimation and release planning.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional self-motivation, organization, innovation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to interface effectively across all organizational lines and business units.
Preferred Qualifications- SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
- Certified Product Owner (CSPO)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
- Certified SAFe Agilist (SA)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
