Qualifications

• Colorado DORA license required
• ASHA certification required
• CDE Special Services Provider License required or obtainable
• Strong background in speech-language therapy
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Experience with AAC systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy to students
• Complete comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
• Determine student eligibility for services
• Develop tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Submit required Medicaid documentation accurately
• Collaborate effectively with special education teams at the building level
