In accordance with the provisions of Article XIV-B of the contract between the Flemington-Raritan Education Association and the Flemington-Raritan Board of Education, the following position is available:Position:
Child Study Team -School Psychologist- Tenure Track Position
Flemington-Raritan School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our Child Study Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting students with diverse educational needs and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop effective individual education programs.
Requirements:- Valid New Jersey certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' educational, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Provide consultation and guidance on best practices for addressing student needs; serve as a student case manager.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance student learning and well-being.
- Provide student consultation and/or counseling services as needed.
Salary: Salary range: $64,580 to $95,535, in accordance with the established FREA Salary Guide.
Placement on the guide will be determined based on the provisions outlined in Article 12, Section A.1 (Initial Employment) of the FREA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Salary will be prorated for partial-year assignments.
