At Boston Speech Therapy, we are seeking a School Nurse for a float position with potential one-to-one assignments at a school in Brockton, MA, offering $70-$80 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized nursing care and support to students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and medical support to the students.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and authorized.
- Assess and respond to medical emergencies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license with current CPR and First Aid certification
- Prior experience working as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare setting
- Knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments
- Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
