Responsibilities- Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders, as required.
- Collaborates with project management and project stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes.
- Consults with all project managers and superintendents to review the impacts and mitigation measures on master schedules.
- Coaches the project team on schedule requirements in the contract documents. Ensures the contract requirements are adequately considered in the schedule.
- Develops strategy on change management for project teams to implement.
- Develops time impact analysis on contract changes and project impacts.
- Coordinates all relevant project schedules and prepares proposal schedules based on contract documents project metrics.
- Works with Virtual Design team to develop 4D schedules.
- Oversees the creation of 2D visual and 4D graphic schedules.
- Prepares schedule updates/revisions as well as monthly progress reports in accordance with contract documents.
Qualifications- 10-15 years of progressive scheduling experience in construction or related field preferred.
- 4 years of experience in a supervisory role an asset
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering or a related discipline would be an asset, but is not mandatory.
- Applicable scheduling certification an asset.
- Ability to evaluate all facets of the project plan and schedule and challenge the project team to improve project outcomes.
- Expert knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures, and the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications,
- contracts and proposal documents.
- Expert knowledge of schedule requirements in the contract documents.
- Extensive prior experience with field construction operations and how a project is constructed, including logical sequencing of work through all phases of the project from pursuit to project closeout.
- Ability to create solutions for complex engineering and planning principles to construction challenges.
The estimated salary range for this role is $138,000 - $172,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
