As the SAP Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving and influencing technical design decisions for various SAP solutions across various functions. You will partner with other Global Services IT Functional Leads to design and orchestrate the delivery of new business enabling systems and processes. • Engage and partner with internal customers, SAP Functional Analysts, and offshore development team to deliver business systems and processes • Design, guide, and monitor technical development by the team members • Be proficient with various integrations with SAP ECC system using EDI / IDoC and other tools • Be proficient in reporting using SAP BOBJ tools • Enable the design and implementation of solutions across business units for a variety of SAP modules • Drive and articulate the SAP systems roadmap, driving business value by influencing internal customers to use existing investments whenever possible • Engage in project/release scoping discussions with internal customers to understand business requirements and complexity to ensure the appropriate SAP services and capabilities are available • Release (cutover) planning, articulate and resolve timelines for various cutover activities, serve as technical point and SME for SAP technologies • Partner closely with internal teams and suppliers on systems design, application upgrades, release and project implementations, capacity management and system performance Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree • 8+ years' hands on experience in SAP ABAP, EDI / IDoc technologies • 3+years of hands-on experience on SAP BOBJ reporting tools • Experience with LIS / SIS structures etc • Experience and knowledge about SAP HANA • Experience in integrating SAP with web technologies and/or SalesForce, etc. • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States Additional Information: • Light travel to overseas required (5 to 10 percent) Additional Skills/Preferences: • Hands-on knowledge on SAP HCI tool • Strong knowledge of design methodologies • Demonstrated team work, self-management and multi-tasking abilities • Working knowledge of LINUX operating systems • Working knowledge with EDI subsystems Bowers & Wilkins Benefits: • Beautiful office in sunny Redwood city, steps away from the Caltrain station • Stock • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • 401(k) Plan • Discounted premium products from B&W • Amazing and supportive team environment
