Full Job Description
We are looking for an SAP Solution Architect to support our clients in establishing their IT architecture throughout SAP projects. The SAP Solution Architect plays a central role in the success of projects, from design through deployment. As a strategic partner to clients and a leader within the team, they guide the development of innovative solutions that comply with SAP best practices and address business needs. In addition to applying their expertise to resolve complex challenges, they inspire and support consultants, share their knowledge, and actively contribute to promoting the organization among SAP, clients, and the broader SAP community.
Responsibilities
Design the SAP solution architecture
Translate the client's business requirements into a cohesive S/4HANA architecture covering the various odules (SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, EWM, etc.), while prioritizing SAP standard functionality (Clean Core).
Oversee integration and the technical landscape
Define interfaces with third-party systems and extensions (SAP BTP, Integration Suite, APIs, etc.).
Design the data migration strategy, ensuring security, performance, and scalability
Ensure design governance
Oversee workshops during the Discover and Explore phases, validate configuration decisions and gaps (RICEFW), approve functional and technical solutions, and ensure the integrity of end-to-end processes (O2C, P2P, etc.).
Guide and support project teams
Serve as the reference for functional and technical consultants, arbitrate design decisions across modules, resolve complex issues, and enforce SAP Activate methodology best practices.
Advise clients and contribute to pre-sales activities
Present architecture options and their impacts (costs, risks, roadmap) to stakeholders.
Also participate in effort estimation, responses to requests for proposals, and solution demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT or another related field.
At least 15 years of experience in SAP implementation, administration, development, or consulting
A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
In-depth understanding of the SAP system, SAP services, and high-level architecture.
Demonstrated team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Adaptability, flexibility, and creativity.
Bilingualism to support our various clients located inside and outside Quebec.
