We are currently seeking a SAP S/4HANA MM (P2P) Functional Lead to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Description - SAP S/4HANA MM (P2P) Functional LeadRole SummaryThe consultant bridges the gap between business operations and SAP S/4HANA system capabilities. They lead requirements gathering, perform system configuration, execute testing, and provide post-go-live support for supply chain, purchasing, and inventory modules.SAP S/4HANA MM (P2P) Lead Consultant Day to Day Job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)- Requirement Gathering & Design: Lead fit/gap workshops with business stakeholders to map Procure-to-Pay (P2P), inventory management, and master data processes to SAP S/4HANA best practices.
- System Configuration: Configure SAP S/4HANA MM modules, including:
- Organizational structure (Purchasing organizations, groups, plants, storage locations).
- Purchasing (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, RFQs, outline agreements, and release strategies).
- Inventory Management (Goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, physical inventory, and special stocks like subcontracting and consignment).
- Pricing procedures, condition types, and access sequences.
- Automatic account determination and material valuation (including split valuation).
- Integration: Design and manage integration points between SAP S/4HANA and other modules or external platforms (e.g., SD, FI/AP, PP, QM, WM/EWM, and SAP Ariba / Cloud Integration Gateway).
- Data Migration & Cutover: Support data cleansing, mapping, and migration for material, vendor, and transactional data using tools like LSMW, MDG, or S/4HANA migration tools.
- Testing & Documentation: Create functional specifications (FS) for ABAP custom developments, build test scripts, and lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Go-Live & Hypercare: Provide deployment execution during cutover and intensive post-go-live stabilization support (hypercare).
- Training: Deliver end-user training and build process flows, configuration guides, and operational documentation.
- Documenting business and functional design decisions.
- Ability to prepare and manage test data for system testing activities.
- Working knowledge of RICEFW objects and development lifecycle processes.
- Capable of independently managing and delivering assigned process areas.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)- required experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori-based applications.
- Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- 15 + years of SAP functional consulting experience with focused expertise in SAP MM.
- Hands-on involvement in at least 2 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts.
- Deep knowledge of S/4HANA architecture (e.g., Universal Journal integration with MM/FI, simplified data models).
- Strong command of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), 3-way matching, GR/IR reconciliation, and Invoice Verification.
- Ability to read/write functional specs and collaborate closely with technical/ABAP teams.
Degree- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Nice to Have (But not a must)- SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement / Materials Management certification is preferred.
Min/Required Qualificaiton:15+ years of SAP MM/P2P Functional experience.
5+ years of SAP S/4 HANA experience

The starting pay range for this role is $111,172.00 to $205,875.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
