As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

  • Define the overall SAP integration strategy, principles, standards, design patterns, reusable templates, and reference architecture across SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive integration inventory covering systems, business processes, data objects, dependencies, ownership, criticality, and go-live priorities.
  • Lead integration architecture decisions across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, API-led, event-driven, B2B, managed file transfer, and batch integration scenarios.
  • Govern integration designs to support enterprise architecture, security, data privacy, SAP clean core principles, scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and long-term maintainability.
  • Facilitate workshops to confirm integration requirements, business process triggers, data flows, transformation rules, exception handling, reconciliation needs, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into integration design documents, interface specifications, mapping documents, test scripts, deployment notes, runbooks, and support materials.
  • Lead or oversee the design, development, configuration, and unit testing of integrations using applicable SAP and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Define and support the integration testing strategy, including system integration, regression, performance, security, user acceptance, mock cutover, and operational readiness testing.
  • Manage integration defects, root-cause analysis, resolution sequencing, retesting, technical dependencies, quality control, and progress reporting.
  • Embed security-by-design requirements across integrations, including connectivity, authentication, authorization, encryption, credential management, privacy controls, segregation of duties, and audit traceability.
  • Coordinate integration cutover planning, transport readiness, connectivity validation, partner readiness, contingency planning, go-live support, stabilization, and hypercare.
  • Prepare support teams for steady-state operations through runbooks, monitoring requirements, escalation paths, operational ownership, and knowledge transfer.


What You'll Bring

Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here's what we look for:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP integration delivery.
  • Experience leading SAP integration workstreams through full lifecycle implementations, transformations, upgrades, migrations, or integration modernization programs.
  • Experience supporting at least three full lifecycle SAP implementations or major transformation programs is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering SAP integration work for French-speaking clients across at least two to three projects, including bilingual workshops, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience supporting SAP integration architecture and delivery.
  • SAP certifications in SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, Open Connectors, API Management, SAP PI/PO, SAP S/4HANA, or relevant SAP modules are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on or lead-level experience with SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, SAP PI/PO, APIs, event-driven integration, file-based integration, B2B integration, and third-party middleware.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP, and at least one major SAP cloud application domain, with the ability to integrate SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Understanding of integration technologies and protocols such as IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData, SOAP, REST, API Management, Event Mesh, and hybrid integration environments.
  • Knowledge of secure connectivity, authentication, encryption, access controls, logging, audit requirements, monitoring, error handling, reconciliation, resiliency, and operational support.
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, structured documentation, communication, analytical thinking, issue resolution, risk management, and escalation skills.
  • The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada.

The salary range for this position is $168,000 - $218,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
