The OpportunityThe company is adding an SAP FICO specialist to its SAP S/4HANA Cloud team. You will design, configure and optimize the finance and controlling solutions that run a global manufacturing business, working side by side with finance stakeholders and fellow SAP specialists. If you want to shape a modern S/4HANA Cloud finance landscape rather than maintain a legacy one, this is that role.
What You'll Do- Lead and contribute to SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation work, owning FICO configuration and best practices.
- Gather business requirements and turn them into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Configure core Finance: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and financial close.
- Configure Controlling, including cost center and profit center accounting and product costing.
- Ensure clean integration with MM, SD and other modules for true end-to-end processes.
- Run workshops with finance stakeholders and support user training and change management.
- Support unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
- Resolve complex issues, provide post-go-live support and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current on new S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
- 5+ years of SAP FICO implementation and support experience, including at least 2 years on SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
- Strong command of financial accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting and period-end close.
- Ability to work across many stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication and presentation skills.
Nice to have: SAP Activate methodology experience; SAP Fiori apps and embedded analytics; SAP FICO or S/4HANA certification (highly desirable).
