Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities: • Lead large-scale, end-to-end transformation programs across Energy Retail and Customer Operations, shaping strategy through execution with a focus on digital transformation, customer experience, and operational performance improvement across the meter-to-cash value chain. • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior utility executives, influencing strategic direction, shaping enterprise priorities, and aligning transformation initiatives to business outcomes including growth, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction. • Define and drive market-leading offerings in Energy Retail and Customer Transformation, bringing innovative perspectives on topics such as customer experience, affordability, digital channels, and data/AI-enabled operations. • Originate and lead complex sales pursuits, including shaping deal strategy, developing compelling value propositions, and closing high-impact opportunities that contribute meaningfully to practice growth. • Oversee multi-disciplinary delivery teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes while driving accountability across scope, timeline, and financial performance, and embedding best practices across engagements. • Act as a thought leader in the Utilities industry, contributing to external eminence, client workshops, and intellectual property development aligned to emerging trends, regulatory dynamics, and technology innovation. • Build and scale high-performing teams, mentoring senior talent, fostering a strong leadership culture, and developing the next generation of practitioners within the Utilities practice. • Collaborate across Accenture's ecosystem (Strategy, Industry X, Technology, Song) to bring integrated, cross-functional solutions to clients and maximize impact. Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements. Here's what you need: • At least 12 years of experience in the Utilities sector, with deep expertise in Energy Retail, Customer Operations, and Meter-to-Cash transformation. • Extensive experience leading large-scale transformation programs, including SAP CIS implementations and broader customer and billing modernization initiatives. • Proven ability to operate as a senior client advisor, with a track record of building and sustaining relationships with executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions. • Strong consulting and commercial acumen, including experience leading complex engagements, managing P&L, and delivering measurable business outcomes. • Deep expertise in digital transformation and customer experience, including the application of data, analytics, and AI to drive operational and customer-centric improvements. • Demonstrated ability to originate and close new business, contributing to revenue growth and expansion of client accounts. • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences. • Experience leading and developing senior teams, with a focus on coaching, mentorship, and building inclusive, high-performance environments. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience) Bonus Points If: • You are recognized as a market leader or subject matter expert in Energy Retail or Customer Transformation, with external visibility (e.g., publications, speaking engagements, industry forums). • You have a strong network of senior industry relationships and a demonstrated ability to convert those relationships into business opportunities. • You have led end-to-end transformation efforts, including business case development, operating model design, agile delivery, and large-scale change management. • You bring experience in Data & AI, GenAI, or advanced analytics applied to customer operations, billing, or service transformation.
