Job SummaryWe are seeking an SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, test, and support custom SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in ABAP development, debugging, performance optimization, and integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, CO, PP, or HCM. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, OData, and SAP Fiori is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs.
- Develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEF).
- Create and maintain Data Dictionary (DDIC) objects such as tables, views, domains, and data elements.
- Develop and enhance reports using Classical, Interactive, and ALV reporting.
- Build and maintain Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.
- Develop interfaces using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, OData, and Web Services.
- Implement enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and the Enhancement Framework.
- Debug and optimize ABAP programs for performance.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Support SAP implementations, upgrades, and production issues.
- Prepare technical specifications and maintain development documentation.
Required Skills- Strong knowledge of Core ABAP programming.
- Experience with ABAP Objects (OOABAP).
- Proficiency in Open SQL and database performance tuning.
- Experience with ALV Reports, Module Pool Programming, and Dialog Programming.
- Knowledge of Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.
- Experience with BAPI, RFC, IDoc, and Batch Data Communication (BDC).
- Familiarity with debugging tools and performance analysis (ST05, SAT).
- Understanding of SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and SQL optimization.
- Experience developing OData services and SAP Gateway.
- Understanding of SAP Fiori and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
- Exposure to SAP BTP is a plus.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- SAP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Nice to Have- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies and APIs.
