Location: San Francisco Bay Area (in-market, hybrid) Experience: 5+ years in trade sales, luxury home furnishings, or A&D
Overview

This role is grounded in the Bay Area. You know the market, you know the designers, and you are known by them. You will be supported by 2Modern's curated assortment of 300+ premium brands, a dedicated trade program, and the 2Modern Residence - our appointment-only San Francisco showroom featuring high-end design for private tours and client events.
What You Will Own

Regional Relationship Development
  • Build and manage a personal book of business with interior designers, architects, and design firms across the SF Bay Area
  • Develop long-term, high-value client relationships with a focus on repeat revenue and growing AOV
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional trade accounts - responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive

Showroom & Event Presence
  • Host private client tours and curated events at the 2Modern Residence in San Francisco
  • Use the showroom as a relationship-building tool and brand expression point for the regional design community
  • Partner with brand leadership to ensure the showroom reflects 2Modern's curation standards and seasonal priorities

Commercial Execution
  • Manage complex, multi-line projects from specification through fulfillment
  • Maintain margin discipline while delivering competitive, tailored pricing for high-value clients
  • Partner with operations and CS to ensure a seamless, concierge-level client experience
What We Are Looking For
  • Established relationships with interior designers, architects, and design firms in the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Deep familiarity with premium home furnishings brands and a genuine passion for design
  • Proven ability to build trust-based, long-term client relationships
  • Experience managing complex projects and multi-vendor orders
  • Strong organizational skills and CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred)
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote-first, high-accountability environment
  • Presence and polish to represent 2Modern at client events and industry gatherings
