Full Job Description
About this Role: Salesforce is the backbone of how Farmer's Fridge sells, services, and bills - Sales, Channel, Finance, Account Management, and Marketing all run on it. As our Salesforce Platform Owner, you'll be the full-time, in-house owner of the platform, reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations. You'll translate business needs into clean, well-designed workflows, put the controls in place that keep our data accurate, and build the intake process and documentation that make Salesforce a system every team trusts.
This is a high-ownership individual contributor role: in your first 90 days, you'll audit data quality, permissions, and technical debt, fix the biggest gaps, and launch a single intake queue for all Salesforce requests.
What You'll Do...
• Map end-to-end processes and user flows across teams to design holistic Salesforce workflows that solve business problems and eliminate manual workarounds.
• Partner with teams to ensure clean, consistent data capture through well-defined, non-overlapping fields.
• Enforce required fields, status and date integrity, and contact-record health across Accounts, Opportunities, and fridge records.
• Build validation rules and permission sets that stop bad data at entry, and run a quarterly review of user access and permissions.
• Maintain the fridge lifecycle data model (install, removal, conversion, Loss Leader) so every status and date stays current.
• Build and maintain flows, page layouts, reports, and dashboards.
• Build lead-to-opportunity attribution that doesn't depend on reps converting leads.
• Partner with Accounting on the Salesforce and Sage Intacct integration so invoice and payment status lives on the account.
• Review each Salesforce seasonal release and recommend what to turn on.
• Run a single intake queue for all Salesforce requests, with clear priorities and turnaround times.
• Own user setup, training, and release notes, and manage sandboxes, testing, and releases so every change is tested before it goes live.
• Document every object, field, flow, and integration so knowledge stays in-house, including taking over and documenting existing consultant-built work.
In Your First 90 days...
• Audit data quality, permissions and open technical debt.
• Fix the top data quality gaps the audit finds.
• Launch the single intake queue with priorities and turnaround times.
Who You Are...
• You're a Salesforce Certified Administrator who's skilled at tying business needs to Salesforce workflows and data architecture; Platform App Builder certification is a plus.
• You have 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce admin experience, ideally as the lead admin or CRM owner.
• You've been the sole or lead Salesforce admin and can walk us through a system you cleaned up or rebuilt, with before-and-after results.
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. The base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for company performance-based bonuses and equity.
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance (multiple plans available)
• 401(k) with immediate employer match vesting
• Paid time off (including vacation, sick leave, and holidays)
• Paid sabbatical after 5 years of service
• Employee discounts
• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
