Who You Are:You are an Insurance skilled Functional Solution Architect within Accenture's Financial Services Salesforce Business Group practice, operating at the layer between architecture and execution. You translate what senior architects design into what delivery teams build - owning solution design documents, leading technical workstreams, and making sure the architecture holds through the full program lifecycle.
You are fluent in Salesforce Data 360, Agentforce, and FS CRM platforms. You thrive in complexity: multi-workstream programs, distributed teams, and client environments where the data is messy, the timelines are tight, and the architecture decisions matter. You bring clarity to ambiguous technical problems and lead junior team members without waiting to be asked.
The Work:- Solution design support - under the guidance of a senior Solution Architect or Technical Architect, support end-to-end solution design across assigned workstreams, including data model, integration patterns, security model, and platform configuration; keep SDDs, architecture decision records, and data flow diagrams current throughout delivery
- Agentforce & AI delivery - own technical design and build for Agentforce use cases across active Insurance programs
- Integration delivery - design and implement integrations between Data Cloud, CRM, external data sources, and Agentforce capabilities; make architecture tradeoffs across middleware options (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP, Salesforce Connect)
- Bridge function - serve as the connective layer between functional requirements and technical delivery; align architects, developers, and client stakeholders on design decisions and scope boundaries
- Technical leadership - lead design sessions, code reviews, and deployment governance; manage solution risks, design gaps, and cross-workstream dependencies; escalate proactively
- Team development - guide and mentor technical leads and set technical standards across the team
- Personal development - Actively pursue Salesforce certifications relevant to the SA career path and contribute to practice development through documentation of lessons learned and reusable assets
- Pre-sale contribution - support estimation, scoping, and staffing conversations during pursuit phases; contribute to architecture sections of RFP responses and orals
- Practice contribution - support the building of accelerators, methodology assets, and Insurance-specific AI use case patterns that scale across the practice
What You Need:- Minimum of 5 years of Salesforce delivery experience, with exposure to both functional and technical dimensions of implementation work.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on projects using Agile, hybrid, or Scrum delivery frameworks, with comfort operating in sprint-based delivery environments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Insurance clients.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years' work experience).
Bonus Points:- Experience contributing to at least 1 full-lifecycle Salesforce implementation in a functional, technical, or hybrid role.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or CTA (Certified Technical Architect) designation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) - either through direct project exposure, self-study, or certification pursuit.
- Salesforce certifications relevant to the SA path: Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder.
- Exposure to integration concepts and tools (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Salesforce Connect) sufficient to participate in integration design discussions.
- Experience working with AI/ML tools or platforms (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, or generative AI tools) and an emerging understanding of how AI capabilities can be applied within Salesforce solutions.
- Experience working across both functional configuration and technical development on the same engagement - comfort moving between both lanes.
- Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment, even at a junior level.
- Multi-shore delivery experience or comfort working across distributed teams and time zones.
- An active interest in growing toward the Solution Architect career path, evidenced by certification progress, internal contributions, or self-directed learning.
