Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with current customers and develop new client connections
  • Drive new business and increase market share by transitioning customers from competitor products

  • Educate customers and staff on product offerings while managing sample inventory

Role: Sales Specialist

Compensation: $75-95k per annum + commission

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage, support and build relationships with existing customers as well as develop new customers
  • Grow new business and expand market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers by converting them away from competitor products.
  • Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities
  • Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans
  • Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels
  • Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules


Qualifications
  • College Diploma or Degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3 or more years of successful Roofing Sales experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Ability to travel
