Full Job Description
The Sales Manager, US East is a high-performing sales leader responsible for driving the growth and development of Nordic Knots' PRO and commercial business across the East Coast, while strengthening the brand's presence and position within the professional design community.

As a brand ambassador, you represent Nordic Knots with credibility, enthusiasm, and a deep understanding of its products, values, and point of view. You build a strong network across architecture and design, deepen relationships with current and prospective clients, and find new ways to grow awareness, engagement, and loyalty.

As a key member of the Commercial organization, you own development of the region through business development, account acquisition, client management, and sales execution. You bring an entrepreneurial, results-driven focus: uncovering untapped opportunities, growing high-potential accounts, and building lasting revenue.

Working with Commercial leadership and the broader team, you align PRO and retail initiatives into one cohesive market strategy. That includes positioning the showroom as a destination for designers, developing local partnerships and initiatives, and working across functions so every client gets thoughtful, responsive, personalized support.

Ultimately, you balance ambitious sales targets with true stewardship of the brand, expanding market share and building a thriving East Coast business.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth and new account acquisition

Own the East Coast market's revenue targets, proactively prospecting and closing new trade accounts among interior designers, architects, developers, hospitality groups, and commercial partners. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, consistently hitting and exceeding sales goals, while retaining and growing the existing account base through high client satisfaction and repeat business.

Strengthen brand presence in the design community

Build Nordic Knots' presence within the East Coast design community through strategic partnerships, events, and industry engagement. Act as a brand ambassador across regional markets and support local activations that enhance visibility and foster long-term relationships.

Integrate PRO and Retail initiatives

Partner with Retail leadership to maximize opportunities between the SoHo flagship and the PRO business. Support in-store programming, designer events, and clienteling initiatives, and ensure a seamless customer experience across retail and PRO touchpoints.

Ensure commercial and data-driven excellence

Maintain a data-driven approach to account management and business planning, using HubSpot and CRM tools to track leads, manage pipeline accuracy, monitor sales activity, and analyze performance. Support regional go-to-market strategies for new product launches and business initiatives.

Collaborate cross-functionally

Partner with Marketing, Retail, Operations, Customer Experience, and global Commercial teams to deliver an exceptional client experience. Share market insights and best practices across the broader sales organization, and contribute to the ongoing development of the PRO platform and client journey.

Competencies and Skills
  • Premium Brand / Category experience & strong industry relationships
  • Relationship building and strategic account management
  • Commercial acumen and business development
  • Community engagement and brand representation
  • Retail and trade integration
  • Strategic planning and execution
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
