Position Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales team, overseeing the sales process, and ensuring that customers receive an exceptional dealership experience. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a solid understanding of automotive retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance goals.
• Set clear expectations and provide ongoing training, support, and performance feedback.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team culture.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with dealership goals.
• Monitor market trends, competition, and customer insights to drive performance.
• Work closely with the Sales Director to establish sales objectives and track results.
• Ensure all customers receive a superior buying experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with management to maintain appropriate inventory mix and competitive pricing.
• Oversee and continuously improve sales process and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and applicable state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:
• Previous automotive sales experience required.
• Proven success in a supervisor, team lead, or managerial capacity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with automotive sales management systems and digital retailing tools.
• Knowledge of financing and insurance products preferred.
