JOB SUMMARY The Sales Manager / Estimator leads the reginal company's estimating efforts, providing strategic oversight, technical expertise, and guidance in evaluating project opportunities. This role is responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, developing detailed scopes of work, creating accurate cost estimates, and advising management on which project leads to pursue. The Chief Estimator serves as a key member of the leadership team, collaborating closely with project managers, engineering, and operations to ensure competitive, profitable, and technically sound proposals.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Lead Evaluation & Opportunity Management • Monitor plan holder sites and other sources to evaluate project leads and identify opportunities aligned with company capabilities. • Collaborate with management to determine which projects and opportunities the company should pursue. • Conduct preliminary assessments of projects to evaluate feasibility, risks, and potential profitability.
