About the role

Bedrock Data is hiring a sales engineer to support our enterprise field team in the Eastern US in closing high-value ($250K+ ACV) B2B/SaaS deals in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare). This role is pre-sales focused, supporting multiple reps and prospects with technical depth, demo precision, and security/compliance expertise - no federal or SLED at this time. We seek a passionate, customer-centric technologist who thrives in high-growth environments and can translate deep technical understanding into compelling customer conversations. A strong background in cloud-native security and AI-first products is a plus.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect supporting B2B SaaS or cybersecurity products.
  • Experience with regulated enterprise buyers and navigating security/compliance/governance requirements.
  • Proficient in running demos, shepherding POCs, and managing technical evaluations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with field sales and product teams.
  • Strongly preferred: Startup experience, history of success as an early technical hire.
  • Bonus: Experience supporting AI-first security or compliance products.

Compensation

The estimated annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is $200,000-$400,000 USD, consisting of base salary and variable compensation, depending on experience, scope, and leveling determined during the interview process. In addition to OTE, this role may be eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
