The RoleThe Arborist Account Manager is a year-round position focused on territory growth and client relationship building. As the face of the "Joshua Tree Experience" across Northern Virginia, you will evaluate high-end properties, consult with homeowners, and close premium contracts.
Core Responsibilities- Territory Growth: Prospect, build local networks, and capture new business in high-end NoVA neighborhoods (backed by company-driven digital marketing and lead generation campaigns).
- Consultative Sales: Educate homeowners on plant health care programs and leverage relationship-based sales strategies to close premium service agreements.
- Estimating & Proposals: Perform detailed property inspections, calculate precise job costs, and deliver polished, competitive proposals.
- Client Retention: Ensure exceptional service through proactive post-job follow-ups to maximize long-term client retention and referrals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with office management and production crews to ensure smooth handoffs and accurate job execution.

Qualifications- Sales Experience: 2+ years of proven success in outside sales, B2C sales, or territory management (required).
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of tree care and plant health care programs (required).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- ISA Certified Arborist
- Maryland Licensed Tree Expert
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (VA, MD, or DC)
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills tailored to high-net-worth clients.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using sales technology and CRMs.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and flexibility for client appointments.
Compensation & Benefits- Earning Potential: $120,000 to $150,000+ expected annual income via base salary plus uncapped commission structure.
