We are looking for the right person to join our team as an Account Manager at our Plymouth, MI location!

Salary Range: $95K - $124K annually. (Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills.)

General Description of Position:

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding market presence, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships. The Sales Account Manager works closely with internal teams including Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Account Management to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Automotive and Industrial customer accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned territories and product lines
  • Identify new business opportunities and market expansion initiatives
  • Coordinate with engineering, product development, operations, and customer service teams to support customer requirements
  • Maintain key customer relationships and serve as the primary escalation point
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Develop cross-functional knowledge of both Automotive and Industrial business operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, customer service, or a related customer-facing role
  • Experience building and maintaining customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and customer accounts simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to travel to customer locations as needed


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in display technologies, electronics manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, automotive, or other technical product industries
  • Experience working with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to support customer projects
  • Knowledge of sales forecasting, contract management, and project coordination
  • Experience developing new business and growing existing accounts
  • Understanding of technical drawings, specifications, or manufacturing processes
