Full Job Description
Artera is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Executive to join our dedicated team. As a Sales Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our mission of personalizing medical decisions for cancer patients and physicians. You will be responsible for developing and managing key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key healthcare institutions, oncologists, and other relevant stakeholders. Understand their needs, pain points, and goals
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Identify new opportunities for product adoption and expansion
  • Understand our AI-based medical tests, their applications, and the value they bring to healthcare providers and patients. Be able to effectively communicate this knowledge to clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to position our solutions effectively
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to align sales efforts with product launches and marketing campaigns
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the benefits of our personalized therapy solutions
  • Lead negotiations, overcome objections, and close sales deals. Ensure contracts and agreements are executed efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using a Client Relationship Management system


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (science, business, etc.)
  • Proven track record in healthcare or medical sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or AI healthcare sector
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with cancer diagnostics tests and/or treatments
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients as needed
  • Experience with CRM software is an advantage
  • 5-8 Years of Relevant Sales Experience in Oncology/Urology (Strongly Preferred)


Location Requirements:

  • Coverage territory spans Oregon, Southern Idaho and Montana.
  • Preferred living location is Oregon.


$165,000 - $185,000 a year

In addition to base salary, this role includes a competitive commission structure, equity within the company, 401k matching, unlimited paid time off (PTO), and more.

The base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other factors to be discussed during the interview process.
