Responsibilities

HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager in Odessa, TX to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

 

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
• Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required
• OSHA 510 and or OSHA 500 is highly preferred
• Degree in a safety related field is a plus
• Expereience with data centers and or mission-critical builds required
• Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills

Pay Range$95,000 - $120,000 Travel | RelocationLocal Only - No travel, per diem or relocation is offered for this opportunity
