Note: This role requires strong hands-on robotics experience. You'll be deploying and debugging real robot systems at customer sites.
What to ExpectAs a Robotics Engineer on our Forward Deployment team, you will be the hands-on expert who makes our solutions work on real robot hardware. You'll bridge simulation and reality, ensuring policies trained in our platform perform in customer environments.
What You'll Do- Deploy and tune robot systems at customer sites
- Bridge sim-to-real gaps through calibration and adaptation
- Debug hardware/software issues on diverse robot platforms
- Develop drivers and interfaces for new robot hardware
- Provide technical guidance on robotics best practices
What You'll Bring- 3-7 years of hands-on robotics experience
- Expert-level ROS/ROS2 and C++ skills
- Experience with robot controls, planning, or manipulation
- Strong hardware debugging skills (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
- Comfort working on-site at customer locations
Nice to Have- Experience with specific platforms (UR, Franka, mobile bases)
- Background in sim-to-real transfer
- Familiarity with ML policy deployment on robots
